  • Holmes is the CEO of a hi-tech firm. After this challenge to the licensing I googled the name of the uploader. All the top hits were to an individual who is the Vice President for Communications at that hi-tech firm. If this image belonged to the firm, our uploader would literally be the executive with authority to release it under a CC license.

Since she is a close colleague of Holmes I find it completely credible she snapped the image herself, and uploaded it herself. Geo Swan (talk) 04:43, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The user who initially reported this image was a sockpuppet of a user who was abusing multiple accounts. I took this picture. Are you seriously telling me that because it contains a PICTURE of Windows 10, that it must be deleted? Don't you think that this is a LITTLE ridiculous?StrangeApparition2011 (talk) 02:29, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • It seems surprising to me that none of the contributors who objected to the screen showing windows 10 images suggested (1) fogging the recognizable Windows 10 portion; or (2) cropping the portion of the image with Windows 10 graphics.

    I cropped it, and uploaded it to File:GPD Win-Face (cropped).jpg. Geo Swan (talk) 05:03, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned image of a magazine cover. The uploader claims to be the artist who created the cover artwork, but it is unlear how much creative work went into the magazine cover itself. Jordan 1972 (talk) 19:50, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment, it could be relicensed to a non-free magazine cover and used on the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine article. There is however already a cover of the in that article that could deem this cover excess to requirements. Salavat (talk) 00:30, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
