Atsuta (熱田区, Atsuta-ku) is one of the 16 wards of the city of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2019, the ward had an estimated population of 66,318 and a population density of 8,088 persons per km2. The total area was 8.20 km2.

History
The area of present-day Atsuta Ward was known since ancient times for its association with
Meiji period. It was annexed to the city of Nagoya, initially as part of Minami Ward
, and became Atsuta Ward in 1937.

Atsuta Ward is a major commercial center due to its proximity to the center of Nagoya metropolis. The rolling stock manufacturer Nippon Sharyo has its headquarters in the ward.
