Dasht-e Sar Rural District (Persian: دهستان دشت سر) is a former administrative division of Dabudasht District, Amol County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[3] Its capital was the former village of Najjar Mahalleh.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 35,795 in 9,263 households.[5] The following census of 2011 counted 37,302 people in 10,825 households.[2]
After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Dasht-e Sar District, which was divided into two rural districts. Dasht-e Sar Rural District was renamed Dasht-e Sar-e Sharqi Rural District.[6]
