It was released in September 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This is the first FIFA game in the series to use the Frostbite game engine.[3] Borussia Dortmund player Marco Reus serves as the cover athlete on the game.[4]
