Removal of Candidates who received over 5%

I object to the removal of Sanders from the info box here, and Warren from the infoboxes at Montana and New Mexico. This is contrary to the consensus to include candidates who received over 5% per a recent RfC on the main page and to a lesser extent at this 2017 RfC. Nothing in that consensus says anything about whether candidates have withdrawn as the date of the final vote (or even prior to mail/advance voting).--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 21:56, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Smith0124 do not disregard the consensus reached on this. You have no right to ignore the consensus reached in multiple past RfCs with vast participation from editors across the project. If you want to argue that there is some other consensus out there that they should be excluded, provide a link, otherwise just stop it.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 19:34, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Smith0124, do we need to go to ANI to deal with this? The 2017 RfC you have linked to says Candidate must receive 5% of the vote. It reaffirmed that standard. The recent one on several weeks back reached the consensus for part B with the addition of candidates that receive 5% of the vote. And the most recent one has no application here and hasn't yet been closed. I started it it only applies to cases where someone has received under 5% (thus would not be in the infobox), but also finished second. Please revert your edit. Otherwise, explain why we should ignore the past long standing consensus to include them, and the more recent consensus to do so. Thanks--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 20:04, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

These candidates are withdrawn. Gone. They aren’t in the race anymore. I’m following the rules by keeping two candidates in each infobox. This seems like a blatant excuse to put Elizabeth Warren in every infobox. Don’t get me wrong Elizabeth Warren is awesome but you’ve completely misinterpreted the Rfc. We had been including withdrawn candidates before, and are still on the main page. You have simply made this criteria up, to disregard the consensus reached at multiple RfCs. That is not how it works. I suggest you revert, or we may need to deal with your
