This article is too simplistic, and is in dire need of sources. From where comes the idea that many 2 juni members joined RAF in the eighties? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.112.137.50 (talk) 23:43, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

what kind of a translation is "movement 2 june" . movement 2 (TWO// spoken: TO) june??? shouldnt it be "2nd" (second), since refers to a date?--62.154.195.115 (talk) 09:58, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Baader-Meinhof Gang"

I think it is too simplistic to say that this is how the German press referred to the RAF. The use of "gang" vs. "group" was contingent upon the political stance of the publication.Enslin 20:22, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Teufel

The section on Teufel says he spent five years awaiting trial from 1975, and was then sentenced to five years, but that he was free by 1982. Is this accurate? Konli17 (talk) 05:31, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't make sense to me. Konli17 (talk) 14:07, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if in doubt go back to the sources. Here the reference is the New York Times, which says "Mr. Teufel spent five years in prison awaiting trial, only to present a watertight alibi in court: when the kidnapping took place he was working under a false name in an Essen factory that made toilet seats. He said that he had kept silent to expose the arbitrary nature of West German justice. Nonetheless, he was convicted of robbery, firearms offenses and membership in a criminal organization and sentenced to five years in prison, moot at that point" (emphasis added). So according to NYT, he was sentenced to five years but had already served five years in pretrial detention, which seems pretty nuts but would explain why he was around in 1982. Checking this out has made me see strong copyviolations with the source, so i'll change it a bit now. Mujinga (talk) 14:40, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anarchist?

The article associates the group with anarchism but it's either unsourced or not clearly mentioned in the sourcing. The German Wikipedia article doesn't mention anarchism at all. What sources are making this connection? czar 07:04, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the source used for anarchism and the website doesn't seem to be an RS. But there are good sources indicting anarchism here of the Stanford University, here of the Konrad Adenauer Foundationand here of the Spiegel.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:23, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
