The background to this agreement is missing:)
The agreement was made in light of the disengagement of Israel from the Gaza Strip in 2005 which required arrangements with regard to the movement between the Gaza Strip and Israel and between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as arrangements regarding the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.
I have located some dangling refs and hidden them, replacing each with a citation needed tag. This has been done because we have references pointing to sources that are not recorded in the article.
