Job of AMI

I believe the article lacks what AMI is really doing actually, other than "providing information". For example, when McDonald's sale plummeted, it demanded harsher regulations of beef (tests, certificates etc..) and the AMI spokeswoman Janet Riley responded that if McDonald is requiring something of their suppliers, it has a pretty profound effect (in 2001). Information like that could be easily added to the article and gives visitor a slight overview of what AMI is doing. 80.108.103.172 (talk) 15:39, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Layout of the members

Hi. I changed the layout a little, I think a listing with numbers is easier to read than the old listing separated by ';' on the same line. 178.190.69.175 (talk) 17:14, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

merge to parent organization. DGG ( talk ) 15:56, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council is strongly associated with hot dogs and acts as the go-to source for hot dog information and trivia. Although it is an organ of the American Meat Institute, that is irrelevant to the general public. The recent reports about human DNA being found in a small percentage of hot dogs should serve as an example - hundreds of news reports mention the National Hot Dog and Suasage Council, not the AMI. Proposal has sat here for 10 months, with no further comments. I'm going to take the merge proposal templates off the pages in question. If anyone disagrees with this closing and wants more discussion, please feel free to add the templates back. -- 1Wiki8........................... (talk) 21:03, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
