I'll take this one on. --Harper J. Cole (talk) 19:22, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Harrison played college football for Georgia Institute of Technology and He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology An inconsistency: "the" precedes the college's name the second time but not the first time.

  • After injuries to teammates, he became a starter during his freshman year. It looks like only one teammate was injured (cornerback Mike Travis). Another, Toby Lantz moved position to cover for him, leaving a gap at safety that Harrison filled.

  • He was taken off the field by a stretcher and transported to the hospital, where he was cleared of any serious injuries. Maybe add that he was back playing the following week?
I'm not sure the source says that. What were you proposing? « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 21:50, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • You could add that he was waived in preseason to make it clearer that he missed out on making the full squad.[4]

  • It's also worth stating that he didn't keep his place in the squad when the strike ended. I couldn't find any sources stating that specifically, but here's one listing the sixteen replacement players who stayed on the roster, with Harrison not among them.[5]

  • His rather common name makes it hard to search for sources, but I did find one more reference, to him returning to college and graduating after his career. Worth adding?[6]

Other than that, all looking good. Harper J. Cole (talk) 20:24, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I have addressed/responded to everything Harper J. Cole. Thank you! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 21:50, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I think that looks good now. As you say, the source doesn't specifically mention him returning from the injury, and it's already established that he was in all three replacement games. I'll promote the article now. Harper J. Cole (talk) 23:00, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Update?

I'm just curious as to whether we know anything about Harrison's life after his 1989 graduation. I know that each Wikipedia article subject has a different amount of source material to work with, but it seems like we have significant gaps here for a GA. In addition to the 35 years after his graduation, we have nothing for the years between his birth and his high school graduation. Since he is only 58, that means we have only covered a tiny portion of the man's life. Larry Hockett (Talk) 18:30, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
