Conflicting information on prehensile tails

The page about prehensile tails directs to the Bristle-spined rat and says "New World porcupines of the genera Coendou and Chaetomys have fully prehensile tails that help them to climb and prevent them from falling from trees.[2]"

but this page says "is the only member of the genus Chaetomys" and "They have long, naked tails which are not prehensile."

Some information on other sites: "The tail itself is long and scaly, but arguably not prehensile." - animaldiversity.org & Encyclopedia of Life

Please confirm which is correct and perhaps clarify the information?
