Moved article with correct linking of names

Claire-Clémence de Maillé-Brézé : both first names & last names are linked with hyphens. There is no reason to remove Brézé from her name in any article. Frania W. (talk) 23:09, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

N.B. The fr:wikipedia has moved her article to
Claire Clémence de Maillé based on a rule about titles of nobility.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 13:16, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply

Paragraph that makes no sense

To get to the château-fort de Montrond[1], the cardinal set out on a long journey from Bordeaux, via Poitou, Anjou and Touraine. She stopped him at Milly, using his short stay to recruit her husband's friends from all parts. While his faithful intendant, Lenet, came through France and Spain, and readied Montrond for a siege that would take the French army more than a year to raise, Claire-Clémence gathered her faithful friends around her and gave splendid celebrations at Milly in favour of all the organisers of the resistance during the Fronde. Despite her efforts, however, her husband remained imprisoned for months.

This paragraph makes no sense. What is the cardinal doing, setting out on a long journey from Bordeaux to Touraine? How does she stop him at Milly? Whose faithful intendant is Lenet?

Probably Lenet is an Intendant appointed by the crown; the Milly which has a WP article is in Manche, perhaps another Milly exists on the route towards Saint-Amand-Montrond.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 12:20, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Felix,
Six Milly are mentioned in fr:wiki, and there are probably quite a few more. On the road from Bordeaux to Normandie, the two possibilities would be:
  • one in the Maine-et-Loire department, an ancient commune now integrated to Gennes:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milly_(Maine-et-Loire)
  • the other in the Manche department:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milly
is connected to the Maillé-Brézé family:

ref by Mlle de Montpensier?

Is this the woman who was supposedly still playing with dolls 2 years after her marriage? http://penelope.uchicago.edu/mlle/chapitre2/chap2.html 4.249.63.185 (talk) 22:34, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oui. The "woman" was a child at time of her pre-arranged marriage. --Frania W. (talk) 00:28, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
