2 years later no update on arrests of those in front of his house????????????????? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.153.148.230 (talk) 21:30, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing problems

I noted during the AfD discussion, that a great deal of Cameron's bio was derived from the websites of the two law firms where he worked. Those sites are meant to persuade clients to trust and retain the firm, so they may tend toward exaggeration of credentials, aside from his holding a bar card. The main cite in the article does not have a URL though it has an author and publication date. When I browsed for a URL using the title, I did not find one. It also states that Cameron was a member of the 2006 team that went to the 2007 Orange Bowl (which beat Wake Forest). Those law firm sites, I presume, would be considered primary sources, not RSS. I went to the stat sheet for that game and it showed 31 players, none of them Cameron. I also found a reference that he was a redshirt at one point, so he missed a year. Most NCAA Division I teams don't play many freshmen or sophomores. There is no RSS for his playing in his freshman year, the year the team went to the Orange Bowl. [1] There were 19 redshirt frosh (and no sophomores or juniors) who did not play that year, besides Cameron, though he and they may have practiced with the team. [2] Consequently, I've removed the mention of the Bowl game team. I also noted, during the AfD discussion, that some of the newspaper stories about him obviously got their bio information from the employing firm's websites, the papers' reporters assuming they were accurate, rather than being primarily promotional. Also, most of the remaining citations were about his endorsement by President Trump in a joined pair of tweets, so were essentially duplicative, including identical stories with different URLs, rather than showing extensive coverage. The AfD votes did not resolve the article's status, so I'm wondering if we don't need to repeat the AfD? Activist (talk) 10:18, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring by User:VK4000

VK4000 is edit warring as shown here and here. He has been warned at his user talk page. NedFausa (talk) 20:56, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Paisarepa,Why would anybody would create a page with the picture and the registry no way that information is correct. I agree on me having to mentioned the source you mentioned though also no evidence of his first marriage but that remains on the page. also what about this

https://www.target.com/giftregistry/giftgiverregistryId=5790b9f032af42f294c443887a047022&clkid=d29cbbecNfde011ea911542010a24661d&lnm=79373&afid=RegistryFinder.com&ref=tgt_adv_xasd0002

"Why" is not a question we ask.. We follow the reliable sources about contentious information on BLPs, period.

No, a Target gift registry is not a reliable source either. I could go make a Target gift registry tomorrow under the names
Barrack Obama. That obviously wouldn't be evidence of anything. Paisarepa 21:52, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply

User:Paisarepa,so what you know he clearly remarried again it is all over the news so what you going to wait for 4 years till some reputable news source reports, he is not that famous the reason it is true is because of no would bother to go through the effort if it was someone like trump obviously it would not be reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VK4000 (talkcontribs) 22:06, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If it's "all over the news", then why don't you link to some of that, rather than a Target wedding registry?

And that does not match the wedding registry date (Dec 2020), as that source says it was prior to August 2020, and doesn't give a spouses name. So something clearly doesn't line up here. When in doubt, leave it out.

The wedding was done earlier I will not comment further https://globintel.com/kentucky/who-is-daniel-cameron-wife-makenze-evans-bio-wiki-age/ https://eu.courier-journal.com/story/news/2020/08/03/kentucky-attorney-general-daniel-cameron-gets-married-louisville/5574927002/ https://www.wtvq.com/2020/08/03/attorney-general-daniel-cameron-married-friday/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by VK4000 (talkcontribs) 22:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And the only source that mentions Makenze is extremely sketchy and appears to rely on that same Target registry.. So, until we get something reliable, it should be left out.

Sub-headers

Sub-headers are helpful when a section is as long as is the case here; they should be restored. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Daniel_Cameron_(American_politician)&diff=prev&oldid=1130826457 2603:7000:2143:8500:5DD5:C41:CCCB:C851 (talk) 01:57, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Second child

I don't know if it should be included or not, but in his 2023 concession speech, Cameron mentioned that his wife was expecting a second child. Kdammers (talk) 03:34, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
