- Heh... I forgot to sign that. That was over a week ago now, and I'm in the process of updating the Pseudalopex species to be Lycalopex. - UtherSRG (talk) 16:51, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Name
Hi. The sentence "It is also known as the Chiloé Zorro or Zorro Chilote in Spanish and..." looks unclear for me, and I replaced it to "It is also known as the Chiloé Zorro (or zorro chilote in Spanish) and...", but it was reverted by UtherSRG. Maybe, I didn't wrote properly, but the point is that the Spanish name is only zorro chilote (common noun, without capitalization) and not Chiloé Zorro... Bye. - Like I said on my talk page: Consistency of capitalizing species common names. If you don't think the name is correct, remove it. - UtherSRG (talk) 08:39, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Size of the real SA Gray
This page says, "Darwin's Fox has a dark brown coat with red areas on its head and face, and it has shorter legs than the mainland foxes, and weighs 2-4 kg, much smaller than the L. griseus which weighs between 5-10 kg"; but the page for L. griseus says L. griseus masses 4 kg (just like Darwin's). This is a contradiction —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.93.59.214 (talk) 10:39, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Species numbers
The section "Ecology" lists the population as being 50 on the mainland and 200 on Chiloe, while "Conservation Status" claims 227 on mainland and 412 on Chiloe. This needs to be cleared up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chillidobe (talk • contribs) 01:42, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
