While http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=1982/tournamentid=1982019/index.html has David A. Russell at T35 this appears to a mistake for David J. Russell. "Majors of Golf" has David J as does https://www.theopen.com/Heritage/PreviousOpens#!/1982/Royal%20Troon Most contemporary sources have plain "D Russell" sometimes with "Bridgegate BMW" as attachment. Glasgow Herald (after he won the qualifying at Western Gailes) refers to him making a hole-in-one at the 1973 Open, which fits in with David J. Overall David J seems to be correct and I have removed it from here accordingly. David J. Russell already has T35 for 1982. Nigej (talk) 10:01, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
