Military service data inconsistency?

The side bar lists his service as 1943-1946, but the body of the article says he enlisted in 1944. Which one is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.5.72.108 (talk) 16:33, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
