Pomeroy on the issues

The article should not single out views on any particlar topic. I will be creating a policy section outlining Pomeroy's views at which time the capital punishment comment may be restored after verification. --AlexWCovington (talk) 06:03, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mandan a suburb?

In the article it says that he resides in "Mandan a suburb of Bismarck". Last time I knew Mandan was a totally separate town then Bismarck. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tazzaler (talkcontribs) 19:10, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe one day you'll look back on this and remember the days when you didn't know what a suburb was. ;) Alex (talk) 01:08, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality Issue

Regardless of whether this:

  • Recently, opponent Duane Sand accused Pomeroy of false campaigning by running a TV commercial stating that Sand would invest Social Security funds in the stock market. Sand's campaign manager denied that he had said that, and countered that Pomeroy himself advocated putting half of the Social Security trust fund into the stock market. [9]

is cited, it is aboslutely unnecessary in the "Controversy" section. It belongs it under the "unpaid, Sand campaign, intern work" section. If you'd like, please leave a vote and a comment regarding removal.Alex (talk) 01:02, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The elder Earl Pomeroy

I'm guessing this Earl is the son of the Earl Pomeroy who was a distinguished historian of the American West - might be worth mentioning. 207.68.240.26 (talk) 12:42, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
