it was decided by the author not to highlight the names mentioned for links to respect peoples own beliefs and opinions but as this was a page on spirituailsm and it needed to have these mentioned so why not next to the author or one of them at least.

I have added Marc Demarest's research blogs to the Further Reading section. He is a serious scholar and I believe this is one instance where a blog can be used as source material.
