Bmclaughlin9: I am putting emeritus back in. He was already retired from that see, and that title, including emeritus, is the title he had when he died. If he had died before retiring (as was the case with Cardinals Spellman, Cooke, and O'Connor, all of them Archbishops of New York), "emeritus" would never have been inserted.
