Table for teams who have played in the semis

Would it be helpful to show the eventual winners of the cup each year in bold? --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 07:35, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The date of each match would also be good. --Jameboy (talk) 12:14, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur 2018

Tottenham Hotspur have played all their home games for the 2017–18 Premier League season, and home FA Cup, Champions League and League Cup matches at Wembley. That gave Tottenham an advantage. The readers need to be made aware of that situation. Mobile mundo (talk) 18:15, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

I propose that

FA Cup Third-fourth place matches be merged into FA Cup semi-finals. The 3/4 is just a stub covering five matches, and as a concept there is little to be said for it other than what's already there there. It is an offshoot of the semi-finals, and information can easily be accommodated there. More people would probably read it there too, as the semis currently has 10 times the readers of the 3/4. And although OtherStuffExists, no other football competition has a topic of this nature. I think the semis article is also an outlier in that regard and I'm aware of a fairly recent move to delete it – adding this information would strengthen the case to retain it IMO. Comment: Fairly neutral, however I'd support keeping it if the article can be expanded. I'd imagine there's a lot of content on the subject, as well as detailing games, etc, etc. NouveauSarfas (Talk page) 13:56, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: The playoff info should be merged to the respective FA Cup season article. Dougal18 (talk) 11:39, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
