When was Dr. Annas born? Is there anything about the personal life of this giant in bioethics that might illuminate thinking about HIS existence?

I have removed some uncited, peacock material that qualifies as contentious - those who disagree with him would not necessarily consider his work to be anything of value, and a better nominee for "father of patient's rights" or whatever would be the discoverer of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
