This article and

Ashurian Aramaic seem to describe the same or a very similar language; the time period overlaps, and the region in which it is spoken overlaps. One template was put up in June; I've added the second; the proposal sounds reasonable. Merge? Klbrain (talk) 14:50, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply

Merge. Most of the scholarship I'm seeing that explicitly names both Hatra and Assur indicates that the same dialect of Middle Aramaic is spoken in both regions. This also matches the description of Ashurian Aramaic on its own page. CasualUser10 (talk) 22:14, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    should also be merged; neither article is large enough to warrant a split.
