this is an interesting article. It needs:

  1. serious copy editing
  2. elaboration of some of the more mysterious sentences: for example, what is the significance of his being listed in the Wiesel list?
  3. Dutch and German translations
  4. explanation West Germany's responsibility for trying war criminals, and greater clarity on when various trials, and extradition, proceedings took place.
  5. person data template

It keeps mentioning in the press Waffen SS. It seems to me that at the time of the execution of the resistance members, he and his unit were under the command of the local SD (Sicherheitsdienst).
