The article on Carey seems to be based on an uncritical acceptance of the fallacy that creating more money makes people better off. More Greenbacks would have prevented control of the economy by "British Capitalists", hard times are caused by banks "not providing the public with all the money they need" and on and on.2.221.143.240 (talk) 21:03, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
