I just wanted to make a note that there is a listing of television programs that have been aired since ABC purchased the network, but none for the preceding networks. Is there any way to change that?
If there is more information, please add it

Network or channel?
Regardless of the word Network in the name of some of the channels, these various incarnations are simply cable channels. By a stricter definition, television networks exist when several separate television stations operate under the same brand and share some or all of their programming or that of the brand as a whole. NBC, in the United States, for example, is a network, consisting of many local stations that, individually, are either owned by or affiliated with the parent, NBC, and which create and sometimes share their own programming at various times and, at other times, broadcast the parent's programming. The Family Channel / Fox Family / ABC Family is simply a television channel carried through cable, with no local stations and almost no local differentiation, except perhaps schedules that are shifted for individual time zones. This article should be revised to reflect the fact that, despite some of its names, this channel is a channel, not a network. — President Lethe (talk) 19:50, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- I wholly agree with this. It seems, for instance, that the word "net" and the word "work" are in the word network, ergo, a "network" is something that looks like a NET when viewed in an illustration. Channel is the appropriate word for cable TV, uh, channels. Apple8800 (talk) 17:15, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 17:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
