Since it was classified as C-Class in July 2008 this article has been edited about 200 times and has been expanded from 14k bytes to nearly 41k. Perhaps it's time for a re-assessment. I have removed the cartoon of Thomas Hay and James Stirling, as its relevance to the article is unclear. Nor is it clear who Thomas Hay was. The cartoon can be replaced together with an explanation of why it is included, supported by a reliable source. Apuldram (talk) 18:02, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the print is dated 1796, when James Stirling (Royal Navy officer) was five years old, and the James Stirling depicted in the etching had for the second time (!) held the office of Provost two years earlier.
