"Persity"

The last quote on the page from Ingram uses the word "persity" which is not in any dictionary. Could you link it to a different definition in Wiktionary? Yoninah (talk) 14:47, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The term does seem to be rather obscure. The Maryland Department of Health defines it as "human qualities that are different from our own and those of groups to which we belong; but that are manifested in other individuals and groups", while several other sources ([1] [2] [3] [4]) use it as a synonym of diversity or variety. Perhaps a link to per se, from which it is probably derived, would be appropriate. Tenpop421 (talk) 17:21, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Interesting little biography, created for Black History Month in the UK. Note that this biography quotes at length from a 19th-century account of Ystumllyn's life, so may set off several copyvio detectors.

  • This interesting article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, but I prefer the uncropped version present in the article. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues (the Earwig tool came up with a 85% likelihood of copyvio, but it was just legitimate quotations). A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:09, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
