Gungl 1863 American Civil War March

In 1863 Gungl wrote a march to celebrate Ulysses S. Grant's victory at Vicksburg, Mississippi, which he titled "Major General U.S. Grant's Grand March". It is in 6/8 time and was selected by the J.C. Penny Company to be included in their American Bicentennial Musical Celebration, a collection of songs from American history for use by amateur bands performing for Bicentennial events. Nationality of the composer
