Notability?

This article is badly written and contains nothing important and truly ought to be deleted! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roz Lipschitz (talkcontribs) 00:18, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pronoun choice

Is there any evidence Karen Dior preferred masculine pronouns? If not it seems somewhat disrespectful to use them throughout the article.--holizz (talk) 10:11, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I rewrote and sourced the article and previous versions referred to Dior as a "he". I also went by what the sources referred to Dior as (they also used "he"). I've no idea what Dior personally preferred, but if it's an issue, I have no problem with the pronoun being changed. Pinkadelica Say it... 11:09, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Bring a drag queen just means he was a female impersonator, not a trans woman. Karen still appeared as Geoffrey throughout his life. I could find no evidence that he was transgender, so I think masculine pronouns are correct. AniKitt (talk) 09:04, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Karen Dior was the stage name of a female impersonator, not the chosen name of a trans woman. Since Geoffrey doesn't have a page separate from his persona, it feels disrespectful to erase his masculine identity in this one. AniKitt (talk) 09:07, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
