Earl

Hello. I've recently been watching That 70s Show on DVD from Netflix and am currently on the third season. Just writing this to say that, so far, I've noticed another recurring character what doesn't seem to be on the article's list. The character of Earl, who worked at Price Mart for awhile with Red and Eric, later getting fired for always being late and then opening up a lawsuit against Red in another episode. He's seen a third time working at the burger place Eric did for one episode. No idea if he appears again as I'm still making my way through the third season and this is also why I, myself, hesitate to add him to the list as I have no idea if he's featured in any others. However I think being in at least three separate episodes would merit a mention. --Hunter85014 22:34, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie

It says on here that Charlie was killed off because fans hated him. That's not accurate, he was killed off because Bret Harrison's then pilot "The Loop" was picked up & couldn't appear on the show.--Hndsmepete 05:08, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Intended Reoccurring Roles

This entire section has no sources for anything, so how do we know these characters were not just guest stars? Most of these entries should be moved to guest stars since there is no evidence they were ever intended to be reoccurring characters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.71.26.94 (talk) 19:32, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bull

I noticed that someone added the following entry to the list:

  • Bull (played by Mitch Pileggi) is one of Red's war friends. Bull appeared in The Good Son, and he offered Red a job since the Auto-Parts Plant closed down. When he invited Red, Kitty, Bob, and Midge to a party, they turned out to be swingers and the four left the party.

Is Bull a recurring character? Was Bull in any episodes other than "The Good Son"?

Jack Burkhart and Kelly

Are the characters of these two entries in multiple episodes or of only one episode? I know that Jack Burkhart was in "Streaking" and I think he might have been in the pilot (but I'm unsure if he was in the pilot). However, I'm not sure two episodes is enough for a character to be considered recurring. I think a character should at least be in three episodes. I know he was being referred to in many episodes, but I don't think being referred to counts as being in the episode. Also, what episodes was Kelly in besides "We Will Rock You"?

  • Kelly (played by Adrienne Frantz) is Fez's girlfriend appearing in the last season episode We Will Rock You.
  • Jack Burkhart (played by
    Jackie Burkhart
. He was arrested for bribery and embezzling $60,000.

Life Spans

Why are there dates of how long the characters lived? Where was this information found and why is it relevant? 69.109.40.103 (talk) 01:09, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wondering the same thing here.--86.87.28.191 (talk) 21:08, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

List of That '70s Show characters; dated: May 2018. Proposer's Rationale: Many of the cast members listed in the former article already exist in the character article – those that are not can be added under a new section titled "Notable Guest Stars" or something similar. Proposal to merge 8 individual character articles into this article

On the 30th of July, IP user

Red Forman be merged into this article, stating that the characters' articles have little to no reliable references are mostly plot, trivia, and fancruft. Discuss here.—A L T E R C A R I   14:20, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply

While most of the references are episodic, it's not at all correct to say that the articles have little to no reliable references. Every article has at least one reference and one is enough.
WP:PRIMARY. The best option would be to cleanup the articles and then see if there is justification for a merge. 74.89.41.7 has made no attempt to do anything necessary to improve any of the articles. --AussieLegend () 15:01, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply

The main article is nearly 50 kB. If the content worth keeping would balloon the main article by another 10 kB, which I think is very likely, then
surmountable editorial problems requiring clean up and copy editing, rather than requiring a discussion about whether sub-articles are required here. Mkdw talk 20:54, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply

Enda Hyde

This section is confusing.

I don't know how to correct the following sentence:

She is only in the Season 1 episodes "Career Day", "Prom Night", and "Punk Chick", though she only appears in "Career Day". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rossidor (talkcontribs) 21:39, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
