Source and redlinks?
What's the source for all of these players, particularly the redlinked ones? Shouldn't they be
Beyond that, age will quickly become out of date, and I doubt anyone will update the page on every birthday. This column should be removed.
Finally, perhaps this is better for a category, rather than a list page. That makes it easier to maintain, and removes the issues I stated above. Bakkster Man (talk) 20:10, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- 1. Redlinked are from some gaming sites, can't remember them all but they should be valid (here is one for example). 2. The ages update automatically. 3. You can't really see any "mass info" in categories since there are mainly the names and nationalities, which are even in different pages. In here reader can see everything in one page. However, generally list which would be very long to be complete should only be notable entries, and in this case being notable should include having a wiki article or one that you are going to write imminently, see Wikipedia:LISTPEOPLE.

- So, my suggestion would be to determine which (if any) of the redlinked people are either notable enough to write an article about, or otherwise notable enough for a specific event which you cite, and remove all the other redlinked entries. I won't go through deleting them to allow you the chance to pick out any of the ones that may in fact be notable despite their current lack of an article. This is a very low value page. The list is absurdly small, being far eclipsed by list of tournament winners in Starcraft, for instance, and article which itself is out of date.
If this were "notable" players, or had some other useful constraint, maybe that'd be useful. But really, I'd suggest dropping it. Lists and standings of people currently playing are best kept by those running the tournaments. HacksawPC (talk) 00:09, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Column suggestions
Remove the age column. I'm betting it's mostly unsourced, but it's also simply unimportant.
Unlink the values of the ID column, and rename it to Nickname. All wikilinks should be on the player's name in the first column.

- You already did this so there may be no point, but I 100% agree with removing the ages from these lists. A number of individual esport team articles also include this info for their rosters, which I remove when I come across them. However, I think we should list the nickname first and link to that, because for the majority of these players, the nickname is their common name and not their real one. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 19:29, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
- Also, I propose that we get rid of the team column, because these players (for some of the games, like Dota 2) constantly change teams during a season. Arcade and speedrunners?
Should we add arcade players and speedrunners in this list? These people aren't playing modern games, and don't have IDs, but they are still in the esports stub. User:Noble5034 (talk) 14:45, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
Sources?
Should we just add high placements at different tournaments/competitions as sources to prove some of these people as top players? I have my eyes set on Hungrybox and ZeRo (I like SSB lol), and could probably add some of those. 21Kakai (talk) 02:10, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Alphabetization
