I changed the first sentence which referred to Mitford as a novelist since the only thing that she wrote that could be considered close to a novel is Atherton which is more of a novella. Someone had also mistakenly referred to her book Belford Regis as a novel which it was not, so I corrected that also. Mary Mitford is really closer to an Essayist than a novelist, though her sketches are not exactly essays either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirbycairo (talk • contribs) 23:07, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Any relation?
As the name Mitford is so strongly identified with the 20th-century literary family, it would be worth stating whether she was related to them. Valetude (talk) 19:34, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
