1984 PPIHC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NnmkeyraRc The first pictures in this video are from the 1984 PPIHC and show Martin Schanche at the summit with no tyre on the right front rim. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpg/58126e5615a8a4c77c0bbb58fb0a3acde2dd5d22_r.jpg This picture shows Mouton and Pons in the 1984 paddock.

While interesting, these are not reliable sources. Prolog (talk) 22:45, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mmmh, if a picture that shows the Audi Sport quattro (instead of a Sport quattro S1 as often claimed) with Pons beside Mouton in the 1984 PPIHC is not a reliable source, what is a reliable source for the fact that they did the race together? Forget about the info on Schanche in an article on Mouton, but for those info I got a copy of a full page of the leading Norwegian newspaper VG (Verdens Gang) of Monday, July 9 1984 with a story named "TRE HJUL ingen hindring". "Reliable sources" for the Wikipedia means nothing else than it has been published somewhere else before rather than finding out about the facts. RX-Guru (talk) 09:49, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored the facts that Mouton drove a Sport Quattro and had Pons as co-driver, after finding this source. The images would not work as sources; they are not citable as they should not even be linked to for copyright reasons. Prolog (talk) 22:20, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A link to an elsewhere published picture is no copyright breach. Photos are protected by copyrights, not links. If so, that above link to your text source would also be a copyright breach. RX-Guru (talk) 00:38, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The images are hosted on a social networking site and are highly unlikely to be used there with permission or in accordance with fair use (see
