Tom Dean here. I've been a big Nancy fan for years; hence i finally got around to transferring the data from my Nancy bibliography to her entry on Wikipedia. Next up: entering the genesis story for the Probability books, etc. Tom Dean (talk) 21:33, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Today, I have added a brand-new collection of Nancy's, Future Perfect, though it has much overlap with the other collections. This forced me to add another one, Five Stories, even though this one only amounts to about 25,000 words or so. It would sure appear that Kress is starting to use what I call the Kristine Kathryn Rusch model of ebook collections: put 5 pieces of marginally-related short fiction into various ebooks (Five Christmas Stories, Five Oregon Stories, etc.) and don't worry if there are multiple cases of overlap between them. Five Stories and Future Perfect have two common stories between them, for Pete's sake. It'll be interesting to see the contents of a third ebook collection. I have today added yet another new collection of Nancy's short fiction: The Body Human: Three Stories of Future Medicine, the second of three collections to be published by Phoenix Pick. (The third will be AI Unbound: Two Stories of Artificial Intelligence; presumably, those stories will be "Computer Virus" and "Savior.") Tom Dean (talk) 21:03, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix Pick today published the third of three ebook/print-on-demand collections by Nancy Kress, AI Unbound: Two Stories of Artificial Intelligence. I must say, when learning that there were 3 collections forthcoming, I was sure that one of them would be a collection of Nancy's fantasies, which is long overdue. Still long overdue! Are you listening, Phoenix Pick? "Words Like Pale Stones," "Eoghan," "Birth Luck," "Stalking Beans," "Marigold Outlet," "Steadfast," "Johnny's So Long at the Fair," "Clad in Goassamer," "Arms and the Woman," "Stone Man" ...

Wrap-up: All three of these collections are strong in terms of quality and price, although the forthcoming Fountain of Age: Stories is still the best. Tom Dean (talk) 15:49, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So, today, I think that I've finally finished editing Nancy's entry here to look just like I want it. I've now edited the entries of Brian Stableford, Nancy Kress, Charles Sheffield, Fred Saberhagen and Pat Cadigan, and it's been difficult keeping to some kind of consistency. A few days ago, I received a message in My Talk in which the sender chided me about the "daunting" nature of my "gigantic" bibliographies. The sender took credit for installing collapsible tables into the entries of Nancy Kress & Brian Stableford, referring to them as "elegant." Taking this to heart, I edited in similar tables into the entries of Charles Sheffield, Pat Cadigan & Fred Saberhagen. However, a message was soon posted in Stableford's Talk section declaring that such tables were not allowed in the main section of entries and were to be removed on sight.
