The result of the move request was: No consensus - Both in numerical terms and in policy/guideline terms there is no consensus here. There are two support !votes including the nomination, one oppose !vote. Whilst the oppose !vote refers to the sources used in the article as supporting the present title being the

Nepal Socialist Party → Socialist Party of Nepal – नेपाल समाजवादी पार्टी remains the devnagri name of the party. This converted in English is both Nepal Socialist Party and Socialist Party of Nepal. The party has on the other hand announced the name to be Socialist Party of Nepal. Even official Twitter and Facebook handle of Dr. Baburam Bhattarai depicts the same which have millions of fan following. • Comment, is it perhaps possible to merge the history from 24th July 2022 into Socialist Party of Nepal, then restore the DAB from February on Nepal Socialist Party with the inclusion of this new party? • Procedural comment. As noted here by GeoffreyT2000, the request was performed by Civilengineer053. However, I have reverted this to the status quo as it was performed during an open request which had been contested and opposed. This results in one open move request rather than one opened and one closed asking for the same thing. The dab is currently at Nepal Socialist Party (disambiguation). Of course, the history split can continue to be discussed during the rest of the move discussion. The split is probably warranted from a first glance. I have not performed that split.   Admin note: the split is not strictly warranted, as there was no copy/paste pagemove and thus no attribution issues that would require a split or histmerge. Sometimes pages get overwritten or converted into other pages, and in this instance at the very least there were was no hijacking. Splitting the dab of this page's history and tacking it on to the existing dab would not be appropriate, and just deleting those revisions isn't supported by policy.
