There seems to be an error in regards to the sentence about the first director. Attempting to find other Directors of the New York Aquarium, doing research on the Aquarium in 1980. Found this article: http://www.sju.edu/admissions/scholarship/ruggieri.html Father George Ruggieri was once director. This article cites him as director of the Osborn Laboratories of Marine Sciences research facility: http://articles.philly.com/1987-12-03/news/26206797_1_george-ruggieri-pollution-medical-problems Need more info to add to the Wikipedia article.
