External Links to Open Source Software removed? [25 May '19]

Hi all, I'm new to editing on wikipedia and especially this Talk section, so forgive me if I'm asking at the wrong place.

I'm wondering why the links to Open Source OMR Checking software were removed? Many people come to the page in hope to find such free to use software. I've created one too and want to share with other people. When I started working on this project, I had already seen the list(in older version) and wished to feature my software on this wikipedia page, only to find now that the section is removed :(

Can anyone tell if there is any way to mention opensource software on the page? It'd be helpful for everyone. Here's a github link to the software which I want to add to the wiki page : https://github.com/Udayraj123/OMRChecker
