Man, this guy must've had trouble as a kid growing up. (How does he pronounce it, by the way? With a short "o", I hope!) Even worse since his first name is "Peter", a somewhat common euphemism for the male organ. Good lord. "Peter Boners"? Really??? (Yeah, I know the last letter is actually a "z". It doesn't help.) Many people are saddled with unfortunate last names, but here's a news flash for you, Peter: names can be changed! It wouldn't even have to be a radical change if he wanted to keep his new name similar to his old. How about "Bonners"? If he didn't have the common sense to think of making such a change himself, did he not have a business manager or agent to advise him on such matters? (Nothing against the man himself. I like his work. Just questioning his failure to change a most unfortunate last name. Hell, if it were me, I woulda changed it even if I weren't in show biz!)
People in show biz change their names all the time. John Wayne's original name was Marion Mitchell Morrison. Peter Lorre was László Löwenstein.

FWIW, his last name is pronounced "Bonners." That makes it about 0.3% less comical. ObtuseAngle (talk) 19:00, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Many actors have info left out
I have found, including Peter Bonerz, and Andrew Duggan and others did not have their acting on the Original Hawaii 50 mentioned. Some were on multiple times. In all the 12 seasons of the original Hawaii 50, many actors on Wikipedia profile,it was not mentioned. Some, had stellar performances. 2601:441:5100:D430:84F8:7C88:B15E:F41A (talk) 02:54, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
