Parole

In the Czech Republic there are two forms of life imprisonment. Ordinarily, the sentenced is eligible for a parole after 20 years; in addition to that, the court may declare that time spent in a maximum security prison does not count towards the 20-year period. (A person sentenced to life imprisonment may not be transferred to a lower-security prison before serving 10 years of his sentence.) Zelenka was sentenced to the latter, and will not be eligible for parole for at least 30 years. [1] - Mike Rosoft (talk) 19:34, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
