(Updated with English news source) February 28 Anti-Russian protests across Korea

Hello, I have an edit and update request. I have found some interesting news articles about Korean citizens protesting against the Russian invasion, some of which has lead to arrests. Could you please add this information in Section 2? Please let Ukraine know they have our hearts and support here in Korea. Thank you!

The following day on February 28th a group representing 400 Korean civic organizations staged a protest outside the Russian Embassy in Seoul saying "Russia's invasion is a violation of sovereignty and an indisputable pre-emptive attack" ("러시아의 침공은 주권 침해이자 명백한 선제 공격") and demanded an "immediate stop to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and withdrawal of troops" ("러시아의 우크라이나 침공 당장 중단 및 병력 철수") along with demands for Russia to abide by the 1994 Budapest Memorandum as well as strongly criticizing "the military-industrial complex and fossil fuel companies that have encouraged and merely spectated wars while providing the background which has allowed Russia's war criminal government to maintain its politcal power and military vigor to start wars." (“러시아 전쟁 범죄 정권에 정치적 권력을 유지하게 해 주고 전쟁을 일으킬 수 있는 군사력의 바탕을 마련해 전쟁을 조장하고 방관하는 군수산업, 화석연료 기업들을 강력 규탄한다”) The group insisted "already too many people [in Ukraine] have died, been injured, or had to say goodbye to their loved ones" ("이미 너무 많은 사람이 죽었고, 다쳤고, 사랑하는 사람과 이별했다") and "young peoeple full of dreams have been forced to confront swarms of charging tanks." ("꿈 많던 젊은이들 몰려오는 탱크를 저지하고") The protesting civic groups handed their written demands for an immediate end to the invasion in both Korean and Russian languages to the Russian Embassy.[2]

In a separate anti-war protest in Busan on that same day, a Korean protestor tried to forcibly enter the Russian Consulate General as part of agitated demonstrations. When arrested by police the protestor claimed he was trying to "deliver objecting ideas to the war that Russia has started" (“러시아가 일으킨 전쟁에 대해 반대의사를 전달하기 위해 러시아총영사관을 찾았다”) and that he would "visit [the Russian Consulate] again" (“다시 방문하겠다”) to repeat his attempt later. N Seoul Tower lit up in support of Ukraine

A picture of N Seoul Tower lit up in the colors of the flag of Ukraine, reported by the Journalist Association of Korea. Roughly 7 famous landmarks across Seoul and other cities were lit up blue and yellow on March 1st in support of Ukraine.

That discussion only saw opposition to a merge and was snow-closed. Meanwhile both articles have grown to a size which would make a merge also technically prohibitive.   • Strong oppose. I think it is good that we have an article dedicated to protests in Russia. For various but obvious reasons this is quite a different topic from the protests outside Russia, and having them both discussed in one article will "water" them both. Also, while having two articles will create some amount of redundancy, these articles are way too large to be merged already, and they will continue to grow considerably. Once the war will be over there won't be very much new to say about the protests outside of Russia (except for, perhaps, the Ukrainian perspective), whereas the anti-war protests inside Russia will, regardless of the outcome of the war, become a subject of international historical research for decades (as it happened in many similar cases), so more contents for this sub-topic will emerge over the decades. "

At this size, they are both subject for further splitting into identifiable sub-topics rather than merging (no, I'm not proposing this right now, but it may be already time to start thinking about which further sub-topics could be split out into separate articles once the article size has reached unbearable limits in a couple of weeks or months).

Where can we add the infamous pro-Russia nationalist rallies?

There are two notable rallies led by Russian nationalists in Ireland (with the Z symbol at convoys) and in Germany (where it is outnumbered by pro-Ukraine protesters). The organisers claimed that it is against "Russophobia", but many of the participants also chanted nationalist slogans and support for Putin.

Where should we add these incidents? In a separate section, a separate article, or the "anti-Russian sentiment" section?
