I believe that this article is of much higher quality, and is more readable, than the former Israel Railways article (before the split). Even so, it seems that there is some superfluous info and the flow is not as good as it should be. I am still thinking about how to reduce the size of the stations table in the best way possible. Other than that, I suggest the following:

• Convert all lists and tables to prose. I have made a chart for the passenger traffic and will upload it sometime soon, then it can serve as an image on the right and not disrupt the flow of the article
• Integrate the electrification plan into the general prose, possibly removing some of the details
• Increase the size of the history section significantly—I will do this myself

I think that the sentence "Many of the rail routes in Israel date back to before the establishment of the state" is not accurate and makes it look like most of the rail routes nowadays were built by the Ottomas ad britis when in fact most of the rail routes todays were built by Israel. The sentence in too general and not factual enough and gives an impression that Israelis today use lines that were built by some else - which is not true. If you want to keep this sentence I advise to include data on the exact length of rail routes that existed before 1948 as compared with the length of rail route today so one can understand exactly what was the rail routes situation before Israel was establishedas compared to what it is today - after Israel developed and built many new lines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.109.166.15 (talk) 09:23, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here there are some interesting free historical pictures. Not all of them are free, but if the picture was taken over 50 years ago in Israel, it is. Perhaps some should be added to the history. —Ynhockey ^(Talk) 18:08, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
