Propose merging

Some (all English-language!) links to demonstrate this usage, from the first two pages of a Google search for {colza oil}: Swiss producer;Iranian academic and another; French retailer; moroccan pharmacy; Belgian herbalists. Many of these explicitly say that "colza oil" is a synonym for "rapeseed oil" or "canola oil".

Additionally a merge would reduce duplication; a fair amount of information is common to both foodgrade and nonfoodgrade rapeseed oil. Pseudomonas_(talk) 13:32, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There appears to be many details missing from the merged pages, such as a reference in the introduction to the oil being a ‘non-drying’ type (see Lists of Vegetable Oils), especially from the last revision of the Colza oil article. Jim Grisham (talk) 20:56, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In much of the rest of the world outside North America, rapeseed oil is commonly used in cooking, yet the rapeseed article that it currently redirects to has very little information on this usage. All the information about rapeseed oil in cookery is under the canola (my English spell checker has never heard of this word, and neither have I) oil article. When visiting Russian article about rapeseed oil you can go to the same article in 26 another languages, including English. But when you have switched to the English version no redirection to another languages possible. 176.120.243.69 (talk) 00:14, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
