Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time

For MyAnimeList the producer company of the series is Studio Puyukai, but for Anime News Network it isn't that. Which company is the producer of series?--White DemΩn (talk) 12:21, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Neither MAL or ANN's encyclopedia are very reliable sources (both being user generated), but looking at the credits on one of the episodes (at around the the 2:25 point) you can see that Puyukai is listed under animation production (アニメーション制作). So yes, it appears they are the producer. G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 13:01, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I watched this episode, but didn't pay attention.--White DemΩn (talk) 18:28, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The official website states that White Fox is the production studio. This was also the production studio that was listed when the anime was first announced.[1]Farix (t | c) 20:44, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sakretsu: Thanks. I had the same thought about splitting it up, though I hadn't considered splitting it beyond the light novels and the anime. As for the caption, I'm not sure if I see what you're saying. The image shows an earlier design for them, (the "Mahouka" design), and the caption is essentially trying to say "this is what they used to look like. Can you see the difference between it and how they look now?". Maybe instead of "how their designs later evolved", I should make it "how their designs would later evolve"? Or is that missing the point of your question? G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 13:50, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply

Ohhh, now I see what you're saying about the images; I'm just so used to seeing character designs organized this way that it didn't register. Yes, that could be a problem. "Ferris"

The article lists Crusch's retainer's name as "Ferris", which he is indeed credited as in the source (and in the character design image there). However, in Crunchyroll's subtitles, he is called "Felix" (as well as "Felis" one time, presumably by mistake?). His character profile on the anime's website also uses this spelling, so barring any objections, I'm going to change it to Felix in the entire article. Agree I support.--White DemΩn (talk) 23:43, 10 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is, the light novel website lists it as Ferisu (フェリス). Can someone who reads Japanese look at the light novels to see if there's perhaps a spelling inconsistency between the original and the anime? G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 01:46, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't "Ferris" Felix's commonly known name? We can note that "Commonly known as Ferris", I guess.--White DemΩn (talk) 09:59, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Shorts

I just created a

list of shorts for the series' episode list. I'm pretty sure that I got the airdates correct, but would appreciate if someone were to check me on it. The original source for the shorts lists the first one for a Friday, April 8 airdate, which was the day the first episode of the series regular aired on AT-X. Looking at the anime's website and at AT-X's website, it seems that Friday is the day that new episodes air on their channel, thus presumably it is also the day that the shorts are released. However, if you look at this source, it says that the short was broadcast on the 19th (which, by the way, doesn't line up with any AT-X broadcast). Plus, if you go back through the archives of the series' news page, it will show that the episodes weren't posted online until 4 days after the initial broadcast seemingly took place (i.e., episode 1 wasn't posted until the 12th). Given the above evidence, plus the fact that Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series on Fridays, I'm going to list that as the airdate for the series. Image?

I just split the character list from this article into a separate page (

List of Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- characters). It would be nice to have a picture of the main cast that we could put at the top of the article, but I can't find one that really seems like it would fit. Here are a few possibilities: this shows about all of the major characters, but it's a bit crowded. Plus Subaru isn't very prominent. This is okay - if we could find a better resolution version. It would also be nice if the characters weren't divided up like that. This one, from a full page spread in vol. 3 of the 2nd manga series, shows the most prominent characters pretty well - except Subaru's face isn't visible. A full page spread from vol. 1 of the first manga could also be usable - except it only has the characters from the first arc, and frankly, the art isn't great. And then there's this, which focuses on the characters from the 3rd arc. And of course there's the promotional image for the anime, but everyone is positioned oddly in that. Any thoughts on which one might be best? Any suggestions for better ones? (Of course, we could also use the promo art for the SD shorts...). Sorry, but my summaries tend to be full of typos. Also the plot summary should follow the novel, not the premise. Additionally, there is so much information about the anime that it could be given its own article. Maybe we should consider asking more members from the Wikipedia project. Rem/Ram's Birthday & See Also Section

Rem/Ram's birthday:
A ton of stuff has happened to celebrate Rem and Ram's birthday. Should this be added to the article, as well as the sheer popularity of the two characters (especially Rem)?

"See Also" Section:
Can we delete the stuff in there? The stuff about All You Need is Kill is completely irrelevant to the topic.

Sure, if you can find a good way to work it in, go for it. Another alternative would be to add it to their entries on the

Thank you. also looking at the characters section, is this based off of the anime or the entire series including the LN? Because looking at the character's page Rem is listed as a main character. She's not a main character in the entire series (there's arcs she's 100% absent from) but was a main character in the anime. Rem and Ram in the overall series are roughly equal in terms of importance including the LN (the main source material), which I am up to date on. So if Rem's a main, Ram's a main, or they both should be supporting characters. Personally I feel the altter, they are prominent supporting characters.
talk) 03:08, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply
]
It should be based on the entire series. I'm not up to date on the light novels, so I would defer to your judgement on the matter. However, since she's definitely a main character in the anime, I personally would hesitate to remove her from the main character section. G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 22:44, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So then maybe we should move Ram up? In the following arcs she does do similar roles to Rem did in the first couple.
