British flags in American courtrooms?

"However he has been accused of devaluing and misrepresenting the British legal system for entertainment purposes as his courtroom includes a gavel and flag of the United Kingdom, neither of which are used in British courts but are on display in American courts and televised court programmes."

Why would American courts and court programmes have British flags?

And surely this line is better placed in the article for the series Judge Rinder? Matthewedwards (talk · contribs) 05:55, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, plus the sources don't backup the claim, so

It does because English courtrooms don't use flags in court. Maybe it could be worded better but there is no reason to remove. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 22:00, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Quite agree. That's why I partially restored, leaving out the made up bit. That's a good source. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:03, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Big Steve?

The article currently states, "On 20 May 2019, Rinder announced that Security Guard Big Steve gets a new job for working with him instead after the cancellation of The Jeremy Kyle Show.' However, there is no mention of any security guard known as Big Steve in the article The Jeremy Kyle Show. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 15:21, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

OK!! Well, you did ask. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:52, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
IP vandalism. Shame we didn't spot it sooner. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 20:27, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at that addition in isolation, although unsourced, I might well have given it the benefit of the doubt. Even the other edits by that IP don't look that bad. Block evasion. Perhaps Steve does Wiki in his spare time. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:38, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
