Harald Bluetooth

Just out of curiosity what is the source for the Harald Bluetooth confusion? As far as I know the cathedral was built on the site of the original church built by him and where he is supposed to be resting. At least according to Saxo. What other places have been named as possible places he might be buried?

Which confusion is it that are referring to? --Saddhiyama (talk) 23:06, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Better late than never: The confusion stems from the legend that when the current cathedral was being built, the remains of Harald Bluetooth was supposedly walled up into one of the pillars near the Sanctuary. The remains have never been found (though the remains of Svend Estridsen have been confirmed to be present in "his" pillar). — Preceding unsigned comment added by KDLarsen (talkcontribs) 01:41, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requiems

the loss of the queen's earthly remains would mean a significant loss in income from requiems....

This needs some explaining for modern audiences. Sca (talk) 23:39, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a clause to the sentence explaining how this would work. RomanSpa (talk) 07:12, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I figured it was something like that. Sca (talk) 13:55, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ridiculous names of queens

There has - for example - never been a "Queen Ingrid of Sweden" - perhaps whoever created the big mess in the list of burials would like to clean all that up? --SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:01, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Width and some other measurements

The width is claimed to be 27 m, but that is only the width at the middle, excluding the west face and all the additions. Across the west face it is 32.7 m wide. The nave is 24 m tall in the middle of the rib vault. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.59.52.2 (talk) 23:35, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
