Was the phrase "thinly drawn" meant to be derogatory? If so, shouldn't it be balanced by the occasional "hilarious" and "brilliantly plotted" so as to maintain Wikipedia neutrality? Briankharvey 07:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah Caudwell Cockburn told me that she was related to the American actor Charles Coburn though I have found no corroboration of this. Also, she does not appear to be included in the Cockburn surname page perhaps because she was most widely known by her pen name, Sarah Caudwell.Jim Stinson (talk) 19:09, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article says that The Shortest Way to Hades was published in 1985, but my copy of the book is copyright 1970, although it obviously was printed much later because the dust jacket refers to Caudwell's death in 2000. Does anyone know why this article gives a date so much later than the publisher gives? It would be very hard for me to believe that the publisher got it wrong.--Jim10701 (talk) 19:19, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I'm now convinced that the publisher of the edition I have did get the date wrong. No other edition has a date earlier than 1984, and even this publisher (Tess Press, a very obscure publisher without a web site) no longer acknowledge that they ever published this book, which hints at a serious screw-up of some kind.--Jim10701 (talk) 02:26, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
