Hi - have just read this and I know its awhile back but Saro also manufactured buses, small marine craft, emergency lighting, stress gauges, composite material - fittings for train carriages, fuel tankers, electronics (early compueters, rockets - hope this helps. regards --Slmvbs (talk) 07:44, 11 March 2009 (UTC)slmvbs[reply]

Not sure if this is useful or not but I am pasting this comment here that was added to the article, To the best of my knowledge most if not all the 624 Leyland Royal Tigers for Autobuses Modernos SA of Havana were shipped as complete vehicles. Wondering if anyone knows anything on Saro-Gill, or Saro/Gill designed marine propulsion units around ?
