Youngest head coach

Art Lewis is the youngest. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 23:38, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • But he wasn't the youngest hired head coach, and none of the current sources that I've seen mention him either, so I think trying to mention him in this article would be
WP:OR unless you found a source that actually stated it. Not to mention that interim head coaches, as Lewis apparently was, are often considered a separate thing. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 00:56, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply

  • Your own source doesn't call him the youngest "hired" coach, it calls him the youngest coach in "modern" NFL history (whatever that means).[1]Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:14, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Here's the NFL Hall of Fame's list of youngest head coaches in the "modern" era.[2] The earliest year in that list is 1947, so it's possible they're counting from when the AAFC got started. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:49, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Assistant coaches under Sean McVay who have become NFL head coaches

John Fassel was only an interim coach after Jeff Fisher got fired. He, wasn't under Mcvay and then became a head coach. I don't know if it makes sense to even include interim coaches.
