Untitled

This one needs a major cleanup. I'll try to do some major work on it in the next couple of days.

How could he have been born in 1984, formed Digital Underground in 1987 (he would've been three!), and then finished his degree in the "early 90s" and went off to college to study music? Didn't he go to college BEFORE founding Digital Underground? Jdotpitts is right: this needs a major clean-up.

Some jerk from Nova Scotia screwed with this. Someone revert it to a past edit for clean-up, please.

Fixed it.

Humpty

How is Humpty Hump an alter ego of Shock G? Their voices sound totally different, and there is tons of footage showing both Humpty and Shock G, not to mention writing credits all over Humtpy's songs by a Mr. Humphrey. Funkeboy 18:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dude you're kidding, right? 65.96.170.247 03:16, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further research (i.e. upon finding a copy of Nothing But Trouble and watching with slightly more scrutiny than I did 15 years ago), no: I'm just a gullible moron who's easily fooled by stand-in doubles and goofy voices. Funkeboy 08:03, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the "citation needed" from the Humpty entry, because, well, the man is his own citation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.145.181.164 (talk) 03:38, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"As the '80s came to an end, a lingering general belief existed amongst music fans that rappers were less authentic if they played a traditional music instrument or showed any formal artistic abilities."

This is ludicrous. At no point in rap's history was there ever a general belief that rappers who could play an instrument were less authentic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.7.242 (talk) 23:27, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestry

You can't be "half" Jew. Either his maternal Great Grand Mother is Jewish, meaning her mother was Jewish (his great great grand mother), or her father was Jewish which means nothing as far as the Jew is concerned; that is she isn't considered a Jew. So this point needs to be clarified because if his maternal Great Grand Mother was Jew and this was part of his Grand mother's line then his mother is Jew and so Humpty Hump is Jew too...full Jew. So if anyone has anymore info I would appreciate it. Please no argumentation on the "meaning" of Jew. Jew law is pretty clear cut and only people who don't understand it would argue with me on who is Jew. I just want some clarification on his ancestry so that I can determine whether or not he is Jew.99.35.224.187 (talk) 11:21, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
