I am here to address some issues within the article. "Location" should be used, as it is a valid parameter per {{Infobox concert}}. If anything, the division of "total number of dates" should just state the total amount. Infoboxes are meant to present an overdue of data. If visitors want to know the exact amount of dates, they can go below and see them. As much, "world" is proper for "type" of tour, as this is a world tour and is promoted as such. Yes, it is a concert tour, but it is also a "world" tour — see good-article War Tour for an example. In addition, the removal of "end date" is wrong, as the end date, as of now, is known. If additional dates are added, it can be changed. As such, {{TableTBA}} should be used, as it is visually built for tables to match the table set up. Not to mention, using "rowspan" for the attendance is wrong, as each date is separate, and it implies that BOTH dates will share the same data, which they will likely not. livelikemusic talk! 16:46, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The "Location" parameter is never used, I have never come across a tour article that uses it. Also, a world tour isn't a proper type of tour on Wikipedia, it's classed as a concert tour, the name and how it's promoted are irrelevant. Where is it said it's "never used," because it is utilized on multiple pages. I see multiple good-article pages using the "Location" parameter for its intended use. And, yes, "world tour" is proper, as it is even classified in the template itself, so, again, where it is stated it's not properly classified as a "tour type"? As for "rowspan," it's nothing to do with the date and/or venue, it has to do with the "attendance" and "revenue" parameters. Also, social media needs to STOP being used as a source. Can you link some examples of tour articles that use the "Location" parameter? I've seen a lot of tour articles, but never have I seen that parameter used, and it seems unnecessary anyway, the locations are in the "No. of shows" parameter. Both of Ariana's previous world tours are classed as concert tours in their infoboxes, and so are the vast majority of other tours that could be considered world tours. Also, I was referring to the "attendance" and "revenue" parameters, when there's two or more consecutive shows at the same venue, the attendance and revenue data isn't reported seperately, the data for the shows is combined. Again, I linked to a good-article that uses it. And, honestly, the template does specify that locations should be used for "Number of shows," so ideally, they should only list the title number of shows. You don't have consensus for your desired changes and the template doesn't actually require them, it merely allows them, just as it allows the current version of the article. @Fan4Life: How was consensus reached when discussion is still happening? At this point, I'm requesting comment from others, as this seems like a tag team event. The template itself states TOTAL of SHOWS, not a breakdown of each territory. Just total number. Ignoring that is ignoring what the template itself asks for. @Livelikemusic: I never said consensus had been reached, I just said that you don't have consensus for your changes, which is true. What the template calls for isn't a strict set of instructions and there is nothing disallowing the current version of the article, plus when the vast majority of tour articles are set out in a certain way, what the template calls for is completely irrelevant. Ignoring the vast majority of tour articles and widely accepted formatting matters far more than not adhering to what the template calls for, it's more important to be in line with related/similar articles. As it stands, only you support these changes, both of the other users involved in this discussion (myself and User:Musicpoplover12) oppose them. You don't need to request input from others, there isn't a minimum number of users needed for consensus, just a majority, which there is here, a consensus of two against one is still consensus. @Fan4Life: Actually, a RfC is required to hopefully gain some discussion from users not involved at this current moment. Once again, you keep saying consensus of two against one, and there is no consensus, as discussion is still in-progress. Discussion ≠ consensus if discussion is still happening at this point in time. No attempts of compromise have even been discussed, or even brought up. The template, itself, is a guideline and calls for what is and is not required in an infobox, and, unfortunately, people tend to ignore this for their own-preferred setup. If Wikipedia were to comb through every single page, many changes would be made to all articles. Simply stating vast-majority follows something is like saying if vast people of the world jumped from a bridge, then that's what we should be doing, as well. During the shows in Inglewood and Vegas, Grande performed "Monopoly" after "7 Rings", so I think it may have been added to the set list.

At the November 19 show in Atlanta "Successful", "Everytime", and "Break Free" were not performed. Additionally, Grande's former Victorious co-stars, Matt Bennett and Elizabeth Gillies appeared onstage during "Thank U, Next". Earlier in the show, Bennett sang "I Think You're Swell" to Grande and Gillies performed "Give It Up" with the singer.
