ongoing dispute

Thwre seems to be a dispute, indeed an edit war, going on here. It has approached and in at elast one case reached the level of a

sources) in the matter. If you think of yourselves as trying to explain to me (who knows little about the subject) perhaps you can come to some compromise or I can help indicate a way foreward. While discussion is in progress, lets stop or slow down the edits and particularly any reverts on this article, please? DES (talk) 19:30, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply

Regarding History of TEN/Optigon: (see also the Talk:Pogo.com). The dispute has two aspects from what I can tell. Previous disagreement on facts, and then appropriateness of including information in the article. I've edited the article to reduce/remove the disagreement on the facts. I'm not sure if a factual disagreement does.
MonsieurBandwidth, is there a disagreement on the truth of the facts in the last version of the history I put forward? If there is, please let me know the points. Once that is ironed out, perhaps we can integrate the information so we give a complete picture containing undisputed facts. Any help from experienced editors on making a better complete article would be great. FixIt2000 19:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)FixIt2000[reply]
My edits have not been removing facts. Just the opposite, I've been adding content and references to bring this article up to Wikipedia standards. It looks like we disagree over using different sections to distinguish the two different "Total Entertainment Network" services, the DOS beta Sprint Dial-up version and the Windows Internet-based version that was commercially launched in 1996. I think the commercial Windows Internet-based version should be the emphasis as this impacted a lot more people and is likely what the reader is here for. I merged the facts. I didn't include the game Descent in the games supported by the Total Entertainment Network service from Optigon Interactive. I couldn't find any articles that mentioned that this game was available in the beta. Do you you have any references? Monsieurbandwidth 09:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You once again removed the information about the founders. If we are limiting it to currently available linked articles on the Internet, then I only see the CEO information available for free. The CEO info was already linked with the CheckFree article. If we include offline information, then it should all stand. FixIt2000 14:25, 12 April 2007 (UTC)FixIt2000[reply]

Really confused? Magic The Gathering: Online is *newer* than the end of TEN?

This article asserts multiple times that Magic: The Gathering Online used TEN for its online service. How is this possible when TEN closed in 1999 and MTGO was released in 2002? And MTGO has always used its own networking service. I am very confused by this... Insidious611 (talk) 00:47, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible it's referring to
Magic:_The_Gathering_(MicroProse) instead? Since the only source I can find mentioning Magic: The Gathering at all, http://www.bestinclass.com/about/ten, mentions simply "Magic: The Gathering", not MTGO. They're completely different games. Should I just Wikipedia:Be bold and fix it? It seems like multiple editors have asserted that it's talking about MTGO, is all. Insidious611 (talk) 00:58, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply
